STS Gas Cylinder Lifter (Counterbalance)

This counterbalance gas cylinder lifter is popular for use in narrow workspaces. The design eliminates the need for outlying legs in front of the machine, enabling operators to place cylinders in areas that would otherwise be difficult to access. The unit features a manual-hydraulic hand pump which allows the gas bottles to be lifted to height. This model has a safe working load (SWL) of 150kg which can be increased if needed.

The unit has a rubber support pad to suit gas bottles with diameters between 180mm to 450mm. The operator secures the cylinder against the pad using a ratchet and strap mechanism before lifting and manoeuvring it into place.

This machine makes use of a 13cc hydraulic hand pump to raise the load. Operators move the handle back and forth to pump hydraulic fluid to the lift ram from the tank. To lower the cylinder down a manual release handle is twisted anti-clockwise; this returns the hydraulic fluid back to the tank from the lift ram.
