STS Drum Stacker (Counterbalance)

Our Counterbalance Drum Stacker is ideal for stacking drums vertically or lifting drums onto tall platforms or process machines. The counterbalance design eliminates the need for legs at the front of the machine enabling operators to place drums in difficult to access areas. The automatic drum catch allows you to safely handle a variety of drum types hands-free. This model comes with a safe working load (SWL) of 250kg which can be increased to 350kg if required.
Made from stainless steel plates and machined bushes our automatic drum gripper allows operators to connect the barrel stacker to a variety of different drum types. The gripper will handle steel and plastic 100- to 220-litre drums providing they weigh more than 50kg; the drum must have some weight to force the gripper to close (won't grip empty drums).
The hydraulic drum stacker is fitted with a chain lift system which offers up to 1080mm clearance beneath the drum. This amount of lift height is useful for stacking drums and barrels vertically on top of one another or for loading drums onto tall platforms or pallets.
