STS Drum Handler for Olive Drums

This machine is engineered specifically for handling 200-litre screw-top plastic drums containing olives, pickles or gherkins. The machine allows operators to unload full pallets of drums safely and quickly. Once unloaded drums can be placed onto roller conveyors or in to other automated tipping machinery.
This model offers enhanced powered functionality compared to a traditional drum-handling stacker truck. Operators can easily drive the unit towards a drum positioned on the floor or on the corner of a pallet, hydraulically clamp the pads around the middle of the drum and lift it with ease. The powered functionality minimises manual handling which not only saves time but also protects operators from injury.
N.B. Please note that this model can only be used on plastic drums that feature proud rigid rings around the circumference.
