STS ATEX Stacker Truck, Tilting Forks

Our ATEX / UKEX explosion-proof forked stackers suitable for tilting vessels have stainless steel-clad forks that tilt forward allowing for the decanting of large vessels and IBC’s. Our air-powered zoned stacker trucks are fully certified for both gas (G) and dust (D) hazardous areas, zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
To operate the unit simply plug in an airline to enable the powered functions; the buttons on the rear panel are used to lift, lower and tilt the load. The unit makes use of mandatory safety features such as an emergency stop button and hydraulic blocking valves that add extra security to the lift system. If the airline is disconnected for any reason, the forks will remain locked in place and the load will remain safe and secure.
This product was developed due to demand from manufacturers who needed to fully empty their process vessels to avoid wastage and as well as dangerous manual handling practices. When a vessel is 90% empty, the 10% remaining inside is very difficult to remove. Using this machine, the final 10% of the material can be removed through the drain port saving both time and money.
